Nelson class time table - 21st & 28th January 2021

Classes are held on Thursday evening

  • 6.50pm - doors open with freestyle dancing - allowing you extra time to purchase passes

  • 7.15pm - all levels - Foundations classes based on technique and other fun activities - Duration 15-20mins

  • 7.45pm - Beginners class

  • 8.35pm - Freestyle dancing until 9.45pm

Class information

  • Please bring a drink bottle to stay hydrated

  • Everyone is welcome to join our beginner classes

  • For our January Classes. Casual pricing or 1 trip from your pass covers both classes

  • Intermediate/Beginner plus class starts Feb 2021 - the timetable will be similar to our Motueka classes - Please note that we will be releasing guidance on how you can progress from Beginners, to Beginner Plus, and Intermediate soon

  • If you think you are ready to join our Beginner Plus or Intermediate class, you need to have a dance with one of our teachers to confirm if you are ready to safely attend

  • Once you are able to attend our Beginner Plus/Intermediate classes, your admission price covers the whole evening

  • Payments are available via cash for casual classes

For first time beginners to Modern Jive - one pass per person - valid for 6 months from purchase date

Adult Pricing

Casual: $15

5 trip pass: $60

10 trip pass: $100

Trip passes are valid for 6 months from purchase date

Student Pricing

Casual: $10

5 trip pass: $40

10 trip pass: $70

Pricing is valid for students aged 18 & under

Trip passes are valid for 6 months from purchase date

Multi trip pass information

  • Passes are able to be used between Nelson & Motueka classes

  • Passes are to be purchased and used individually

  • You will need to present your pass to our door team on arrival each time that you attend

  • You are able to pay via internet banking or cash at class for your multi trip pass

St Joseph's School Hall - 1/18 Manuka Street, Nelson

The hall is located up the driveway to right hand side, past a large tree (opposite to the side of the church)
